How to Store Chicken Breast Fillet
Chicken is sensitive to spoilage. It is therefore important to correctly store chicken. Raw chicken can be kept in the freezer for about 3 months. In the fridge, chicken can be kept for 2 days. When you intend to use the frozen chicken, take it out of the freezer one day in advance and let it defrost in the fridge. Always place defrosted meat, covered, at the bottom of the fridge. This prevents the moisture from leaking onto other food.
You can prepare chicken in many different ways, stir-fry, grill, boil etc. The most important thing is to heat the chicken well and make sure it is really well done. That way, any harmful bacteria will be killed off. When the chicken is white on the inside, it is well done.
