How to Store Chicken Breast Fillet
Chicken is sensitive to spoilage. It is therefore important to correctly store chicken. Raw chicken can be kept in the freezer for about 3 months. In the fridge, chicken can be kept for 2 days. When you intend to use the frozen chicken, take it out of the freezer one day in advance and let it defrost in the fridge. Always place defrosted meat, covered, at the bottom of the fridge. This prevents the moisture from leaking onto other food.

Chicken Fillet Recipe
As mentioned, you can prepare this lean piece of chicken in many different ways. For inspiration we give you a delicious exotic recipe; Moroccan chicken breast fillet out of the oven. A super tasty dish for the whole family.
What do you need?
- 4 chicken fillets
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp ginger powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp neutral olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove (pressed)
Preparation
Get the fillets out of the fridge and let them settle at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 190℃ and get a greased oven dish ready for the chicken. Mix all the ingredients (except the fillets) together in a small bowl until smooth. Place the chicken in the oven dish and smear them well with the seasoning mixture. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes until the fillets are done.
Serve with a fresh salad and jacket potatoes. To keep it in Moroccan style, serve a delicious couscous with it instead.
